The Entrepreneur Mindset

I have a problem and I don't know what to do about it; I'm an entrepreneur! Now you might be thinking that this doesn't sound like a problem at all, but sometimes it can be. Let me explain. Ever since I was young I have had a very active mind. I think about everything and I see opportunity in everything. When someone else see's a problem, I see a solution and a way to generate revenue. Sounds like a good problem to have doesn't it! It is a great way to think however sometime is can be a bit of an issue. See, the problem is, I see opportunities and I jump in head first, sometimes without doing the proper research first. In my mind it just cannot go wrong. There's no possible way. I have a hard time seeing risk. Actually, I don't even see it or I tend to overlook risk if I do see. I am so determined that something is going to work, that I sometimes look past everything to try to make something work. This has gotten me into trouble a few times, where I've launched out into what I think is going to make me my first million dollars and then it flops. I know they say that many wealthy people failed a number of times before succeeding, but tell that to the people around me that think I'm crazy! |
